Music In The Gardens

The organising committee of  Music in the Gardens 2018 regrets to advise the cancellation of this year's event which was due to be held at Mansion House next Saturday, 17 February.

Another tropical cyclone is predicted to arrive here close to the weekend, with resultant heavy rain and strong winds. The timing is impossible to predict.

Equally unpredictable are the logistics of getting equipment, goods and people safely to and from the venue.

We're so appreciative of the support we've had from Islanders and their guests and hope that your alternative activities are equally enjoyable.

There’s 70s and 80s music at Kawau Boating Club on Saturday night, for instance.

The committee met this afternoon to make a number of decisions, being mindful of the consequences to our beneficiaries and the community as a whole.
